Roberto Mancini has named his squad for the away match against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico. Mauro Icardi and Stevan Jovetic will miss the fixture due to injury but Geoffrey Kondogbia and Marcelo Brozovic are included.

I like that midfield.
I struggle to imagine Adam on the right side. Perhaps he crowds the centre which will make things interesting. If he struggles, he may need to make way for Biabiny.
With Icardi, Jovetić and Palacio all out it leaves only Eder as the main striker. I’d go with something like this for this match. Pretty sure midfield and attack will be like this, maybe Biabiany starting instead of Ljajić, but for fullbacks Mancini might choose Nagatomo or even JJ.
our last game against Roma was imo one of Nagatomo’s best displays all season. Although Telles has speed, I might actually prefer Yuto there just because he is our fastest fullback and can moderately keep up with Salah. I could even see Mancini going with 3 at the back, and this would be one of the very few games where I could see it working
Yeah he was good but if Nagatomo isn’t feeling like playing good like it happens about 4 times per season, he will be absolutely crushed and we will suffer.
definitely, I could see his performance going in either direction, he could play very well or very bad depending on how concentrated he is
