This sucks none of these places are no where near me like the last couple times they came. NY or NJ would have been good
No offense to any Inter fans from Oregon or North Carolina, but those are two of the worst venues I’ve seen for any summer tournament in North America! The ICC must have gotten their footballs mixed up when they selected these locations because “soccer” is not a prevalent sport in either of these areas. The only reasoning that would make any sense for the game v PSG being in Eugene, Oregon is that it is the hometown of Nike co-founder Phil Knight, and Nike being the kit sponsor for both teams could perhaps have influenced that decision. As for the game vs Bayern in Charlotte, NC, I can’t think of or find a single plausible reason as to why a “soccer” game would be held there.
Nice to get some publicity and cash.
