During an awards ceremony yesterday, Inter’s former legendary captain, The no. ‘4’ and current Vice-president recollects some memory of his life about growing up in Argentina and arriving at Inter: “I came from a poor family but I brought great values and principles with me. My father sewed my shoes with wire, we didn’t have leather to repair them and I was divided between my chores, school and my passion for football. When i arrived in Italy it wasn’t easy, but the Italians made me feel accepted immediately and at Inter I found a second family.”
