With 25-30 mil we can take Berardi, younger and already proven in Serie A. I know it’s a different position, but Biglia is already too old to invest that kind of money in him. You don’t rebuild a team paying 25 mil for a 30 yrs old player.
Hernanes 2. We won’t play in CL, we need to sell some of our high profile players, so let’s go offering 25 mil for a 30 y.o. I agree we need a creative attacking player, but then again why did we sell all of them to begin with? And then again will Mancio finally find his “trequartista” In Biglia when he couldn’t find it in Kovacic and Hernanes and Shaquiri. Plus for me Franco Vasquez from Palermo is a way better option and we can get him cheaper especially if they get relegated.
Banega seems like coming in – he´s an attacking midfielder and Soriano is very creative and with the exchange of Ranno and Dodo to Samp (who´s almost broke) that deal seems fine as well, and a cheap solution too!
Ljajic has been fine this year, not superb, just fine – but Banega is much more proven quality player so letting Ljajic go for him (and Soriano) makes sense!
Biglia is a regista type of player whom we defently could do with, but Ausilio said the other day that he´s too expensive and that we won´t go after him!
He isn’t another Hernanes, this guy isn’t that complex of a player he is an organiser of the midfield who gives solidity and fight, starter for Argentina as well, experience we can do with. I wouldn’t burst the bank for a 30 y.o of his type though
I love how we can’t afford paying 11m for Ljajic and 8m for Telles but we can afford paying 25m for Biglia.
With same clause with adem n telles i thought. So next season well evaluate them again.
25 million is wayyyy too much, not because he isn’t good- he’s a champion but he is too old for that kind of money. But we get what we pay for right?
