It was a smart and impressive tactical display by Inter this evening who managed to score two goals and keep a clean sheet. Both Icardi and Brozovic were on the score sheet.

Of the two, only one race is still alive: it’s that of the Inter of Roberto Mancini who beat Napoli 2-0 with goals from Mauro Icardi and Marcelo Brozovic approaching the Roma-Atalanta game tomorrow. At the San Siro it seemed that the dreams of the Scudetto for Maurizio Sarri shattered who in case of a Juventus win tomorrow against Palermo will plunge to a nine point gap between the two sides. Napoli in the first half tried to play their game but paid for two defensive errors with the Argentine’s goal, who is now on 15 goals this season, as he received the ball in a slightly offside position to get the ball past José Reina, and then doubled the lead by supplying the Croatian in order to secure the lead as the Inter Captain should. In the second half, Inter controlled the match better than a Napoli that gradually kept losing confidence. A crucial victory with which the nerazzurri can consolidate fourth place and keep the hopes of a comeback for the Champions League place alive.
