TS – Candreva is the first option for Inter’s attack

Many Interisti, including myself, still have the fear of Inter overpaying Lazio for a player who is not worthy of a top money transfer (Remember Hernanes’ case). But I think Candreva would be a coup if we can get him in the region of 15m euro. He has the ability to cut inside from the right flank, decent crossing, good long shot and more importantly, the eye for a goal. We really lack those attributes from our right sided player this campaign. Biabiany has great speed and decent crossing but lack of tactical acumen to hold down a starting berth. Palacio, who often starts as right sided forward this season, has the ability to cut inside and tactical acumen, but he has no 90 minutes in his leg plus he is not too sharp in the penalty box as he was two-three seasons ago. Eder is still an enigma for Inter. We signed him in order to boost the attacking department, but he ends up warming the bench and lose his touch and confidence. Of course, I would definitely consider Bellarabi, Feghouli or Ben Arfa as viable option (sorry Nani, I don’t think you are worthy of Inter shirt) but we do need someone who has experience in Serie A. We don’t want to throw away few months’ time for their adaptation just like we did this season with Perisic and Kondogbia. They are truly amazing player in their respective league but this is Serie A, the most tactical and difficult championship in the world, so better if we get someone who already understand the league. Juve bought Dybala and Cuadrado, Roma signed Salah, Perotti, El Shaarawy, and Napoli got Allan. Those are the proof that we don’t need to seek players from other league. Now it’s up to Inter to negotiate the price with Lotito. I would say yes for Candreva if it only cost us 15 m euro.
