Tuttosport has no doubts: Roberto Mancini wants Manolo Gabbiadini. The Inter coach has called for a left-footed attacker able to play on the right and therefore the former Atalanta and Sampdoria player would become the number one objective, because Gabbiadini himself would like a change of scenery after spending a year in the shadow of Higuain with few chances a starter.
“It will be difficult, in this regard, for Napoli to be able to hold on to him as they did in January when De Laurentiis turned down a very important offer from Wolfsburg – confirms the Turin daily -. The Germans – as indeed Tottenham – are still very active for the player and are ready to pay 25 million for the player, an important evaluation which Inter could be able to pay even in self-financing scheme. The fact that Thohir will not start paying for Eder until 2017 and that the money from the sale of Guarin has not yet been spent should not be forgotten.
Add to this yet another clue given by Mancini after the match against Udinese: the coach made no mention of Ljajic when he spoke about the attackers at his disposal for the future, a clear sign of how the club has no intention of redeeming the player by paying the 11 million agreed with Roma. A choice evidently endorsed also by Mancini who, after the home defeat against Torino on April 3, has only used Ljajic for one single minute in the next four league games.”
Tuttosport also adds two more expendable names in case of negotiation: Ausilio may also include Ranocchia and Juan Jesus in a deal with Napoli, as Sarri would ask for a central defender to complete the defense.
