Since Inter is once again entering a European competition the pressure on the club to respect Financial Fair Play becomes bigger. The Europa League brings money, but it also brings more pressure to respect the parameters set by the UEFA and although Inter is following the plan set by the UEFA, it seems the club can’t allow itself to spend crazy figures on the mercato.

This means the club once again has to sell players to finance the mercato. After having signed players for free, like Erkin and Banega, it seems like Inter will have to sell at least one player to get Roberto Mancini the reinforcements the coach desperately wants. With Icardi, Brozovic and Perisic all being considered keys for Inter’s project, the player who the club would sacrifice could be Handanovic. Together with Eder and Jovetic, the Slovenian goalkeeper could finance Inter’s mercato during the summer.

Mancini has specifically asked for another midfielder and today the player the Nerazzurri are aiming to get is Biglia. Inter has already offered 15 million euro’s for the Lazio midfielder but Lazio president Lotito’s valuation of 30 million euro’s of the player could cause problems for Ausilio who’d have to look elsewhere to reinforce Inter’s midfield.
