Inter central defender Juan Jesus talked about the past season and what the future holds to Globo Esporte: “We started very well, but after December we suffered a flexion and lost the top of the ranking till ending up the torunament as 4th. We hoped to reach the Champions League, but to play an European competition is not a bad result. Inter have a very important history, the best players where here. This history pushes you to do your best even when you’re adapting. For example, despite a such high number of new players, we built a good team and made great things even if we were at the first year together. Next year we can do better than this. I always work to improve and Seleçao is one of my targets. I hope to be called thanks to what I do at Inter. I could get the Italian passport, but I’ll consider it in the future. Inter can compete for Scudetto, in the last seasons the Milanesi weren’t competitive and Juventus took easily advantage. But when Inter and Milan will be competitive again, the Serie A will change.”
