According to Il Mesaggero, Pablo Zabaleta or Gregory Van der Wiel will be Inter’s third free signing after Caner Erkin and Ever Banega. Zabaleta is said to want a reunion with Mancini while Van der Wiel may prove trickier due to competition from Roma.

Doubt we can get Zabaleta for free, but if then this choice is a no-brainer in my mind.
van der Wiel would be my choice. He had a good season when he actually got to play and his age and price cant be beat.
I wouldn’t mind either, but I doubt City will just let Zabaleta go for free. He still has a year left on his contract and has been there since ’08. van der Wiel on the other hand we can definitely get for free, and is imo the better option. Mostly due to the age difference and price, but I also would like to see Inter have a Dutch contingent if we signed him along with Vilhena, Bruma, Wijnaldum and Janssen.
