Inter legend Iván Córdoba has given his thoughts on the Suning Commerce Group’s arrival in the black-and-blue half of Milan. Firstly, he began by thanking the Moratti family which has a long affinity with Inter. Particular gratitude was reserved for former president Massimo: “For us, he was a father-like figure because of all the chances he gave us.”
On the change of ownership, he said: “This is today’s football, many teams have changed. Now we hope Inter can invest to build a competitive team like we had during the Moratti era, when he made huge efforts to build a winning side. From the outset, we will see the real intentions of the new investors.”
