Physically and technically, he is reaching his peak. Most players do that around the age of ~24, so thats perfectly normal.
In terms of pure footballing ability he is unlikely become much better than he is now.
What can really improve his game from here on, is improving mentally and getting better understand about the game and making the right decisions.
Thats the difference between him and Kovacic, Kovacic can still improve drastically in the technical aspects of the game, while Brozovic is unlikely to improve much.

As someone who’s been watching Brozovic since he was 18 years old, I can tell you that he has improved every season since then. He showed significant improvement even this season and showed that he can play on this level which really suprised me because I never thought he would be able to impose himself in big club like Inter. The reason why he is improving is not because he has enormous talent like Kovacic (who’s been stalling), it is because of hard work. He is a hard worker and that is a guarantee that he will improve even further..
Inter fans on this site are partly blined when it comes to Inter players and tend to underrate those players. People that are neutral admirers of football value Brozovic much higher than people on this site.
And I would strongly disagree that players reach their peak at age 24, players that really do reach their peak at that age and don’t keep maturing and add elements to their game are doomed to fail. Football is evolving every year and so does the players, at least the good ones.
I never said that players dont keep maturing. Infact i said that the real areas where players improve beyond the age of 24/25 are in the mental aspects (experience = better understanding, desicion making etc etc). This often means more than the technical aspects of the player.
But that doesnt change the fact, that players generally doesnt improve in terms of pure footballing ability beyond this age, which was what i wrote.
And this is the reason why Kovacic at 21 was worth more than Brozovic is at 24, since Kovacic still could/can develop quite a bit in terms of pure footballing skills, while Brozovic is fairly close to peaking.
Which of the two who will actually become the better player in the end is up in the air. Kovacic has a clear advantage in terms of pure footballing ability, but if Brozovic is superior mentally he will likely become the better player.
The question is what do you mean under pure footballing ability/skills, because almost everything can be improved in a game of football. The way you dribble, pass, lead the ball, off ball movement, I think that all that can be improved beyond age of 24 and good players improve those things year after year. Only thing in football that you can’t learn is a god given talent and some physical abilities that are connected with your natural physique.
And about a part with comparing Kova and Broz, I wasn’t disccusing about that, my point was that Brozovic can improve even further.

Yup! Brozo gets a lot of shit because he lost some balls in the middle and since Inter didn’t know how to press (ask Mazzari why) those balls were converted into goals by counter attacking teams. That shouldn’t happen with Banega on the pitch if we play 4-3-3. Seems like Mancio prefers 4-2-3-1 and in this case selling Brozo for 35mil+ and buying Candreva to play on the right makes sense to me.

Based on his statistics this past season, he’s hardly as inconsistent as people make him out to be. He’s actually improved since last season (which he had a total of 15 games). So really he still has plenty of room to improve even further. He’s still young, 24 is hardly old, and if he is old, than wtf is Candreva, Toure, Erkin etc?
He’s not the issue. The issue is goal scoring and stopping counter attacks, which is caused by 2 things. 1 our formation, 2 having Melo, Nagatomo, D’Ambro, Jesus on the pitch.With our team we should be playing a 4-3-2-1 (essentially a 4-3-3, not a 4-2-3-1 (which is a 4-2-4 basically). For our attack we are severely lacking a play maker whether it be a trequartista or a regista. That should be the immediate concern (hence why I keep suggesting Halilovic/Isco/Eriksen/Meyer/Alli/etc).
Can’t play with a sole striker in Italy, and expect to “unlock” defenses or continously put the ball in the box without major support or an aerial dominate striker (Lewandowski/Suarez for example). Mancini is going to take a young team and turn it into a team with an avg age of 28), which is the opposite of what should be done, unless his goal is to solely make CL, and care not for the future of this team.
