Incredible news for Inter: Ezequiel Garay wants Inter . From the first day (Thursday) that is known that the Argentinean with the Spanish passport wants to leave Zenit St.Petersburg, the news are spread incredibly fast. The Argentinean has cleared the atmosphere considering his future plans in the players meeting for physical tests in Gazprom Training Center. The central defender who was not called by Martino for the Coppa America tournament, presented regularly to the call of the new coach Lucescu, but made clear to the Russian club that he now wants to terminate the contract which ties him until 2019 so that he can find a new experience. From all the signs coming from Russia, but also from sources close to Inter, it is understood that behind Garay’s string will to leave, is the Nerazzuro club.Arriving at Zenit in 2014 for an amount of 6 million euros and earning nearly 5 million euros per year, he seems now to be willing to pay a penalty in order to be out of contract. Inter can not afford – now – to sit at a table to deal with the Russians a price for Garay, but the Argentinean defender, seems to be very eager to have this confrontation. Inter wait and are aware that a couple formed by Miranda and Garay (who turns 30 years this October) would certainly increase the level of reliability of the defence, remembering the physical strength and experience of Lucio-Samuel duo, the stars of the Treble season.

We only need 1 CB. We keep Miranda and Murillo, Medel is a natural CB so we just need one other person and get rid of the others
I would like to see Garay in Inter, he’s experienced, Argentinian (good for us) and he even can take penalties, but who then will be on bench? I hope Murillo stays and I’m not sure everyone will be happy to rest sometimes. I say, yes, but still there are positions which needs strenghten more than CB.
Couldn’t agree more. Garay would be a good deal if he comes for free and Inter gets rid of JJ. He should be ok to start some games on bench and play more in UEL
If its free and we can reduce its wage for a half, than its ok, but if its not, i said let forget about him coz we are inches away from acerbi-ranochia swap deal
they bought him for like 37m if not wrong
Then it will not be for free for sure, so let forget about him, go get bruma
you never know. For some reason russian contracts have clauses that allow the player to break the contract and leave. We’ve seen that happen before. They still have to pay a penalty but not nearly as much as transfer fees
Squinzi( Sass owner ):” Berardi? He rejected Juventus, so he’ll stay here. For sure he won’t go to Inter, it’s not my idea to sell him to the Nerazzurri”.
We’re pushing for a player we can’t afford, being owned by Juventus, playing in a team owned by a milanista. A miracle is needed.
we are doing what we did with Lucas/Lavezzi and at the end, we will get another biabiany
but we have money now
Miracles do happen a.k.a. Perisic 😉
In Ausilio we trust!
If we sell Murillo for 25-30m and bring Garay for free we can spend money for a good RB like Vrsaljko or Fabinho.
Sure, if for free then it would be a great signing, but i doubt Zenit will him to terminate his contract.
Vrsaljko is also minutes away from signing with Atletico i believe,
If Murillo is sold, i think the money should go towards buying a forward/RW. Surely Inters offensive issues is more pressing than the defensive ones.
I just hope that RW isn’t Candreva, but Berardi.
I agree, Berardi could develop into a really good player and would already be an upgrade..
Although Candreva would likely make a bigger immediate impact,
Don’t think so, Berardi is already proven in Serie A, Candreva is becomeing inconstant.
I want Lamela.
He said that he wants to stay at Tottenham atleast one more year
I don’t take that serious. At the end, money talks.
And Inter need to sign an italian player for the new quota rules of UEL. Hence their focus on Candreva/Berardi
man you and your obsession with lamela, he is weak
Oh come on! He has the creativity and flare as a winger. He’s a difference maker and we really need that kind of player.
quaresma had flair too
Lamela is good but good luck in making him defend and we know what Mancini does to players with flare who don’t track back a.k.a. Ljaic 😉
Ljajic had attitude problem. Nasri and David Silva didn’t track back, but Mancio hadn’t any sort of problem with them.
I’m hoping we keep Murillo and get the money from Brozovic, Murillo made some mistakes certainly but he had some great plays and can definitely improve under Miranda, Brozovic is decent but 30m for him is a deal you can’t turn down
YES YES YES
He is not a bad player, but i’d rather keep Murillo.
Its worrying that almost all our serious transfer targets are nearing 30 or over. Quite shortsighted strategy. We need to get back into the CL, yes, but the aim should to be stay there. Buying 4-5 new players who are 30 or over will not ensure that.
You are right, we are linked only with players like Candreva, Yaya Toure, Ansaldi, Garay, the list can go on. But a CB needs experience and Garay can be useful for 2-3 seasons.
I like Murillo, but sometimes he acts headlessly like getting easy red cards or conceding penalties. If we get some 35M offer for him then I prefer having a experienced CB and the money.

That’s true but Murillo is very young and will only get better. He also gives the team an extra attacking threat for those games when we have to catch up. I believe Garay is just a backup option if Inter gets a huge offer they can’t refuse from RM or ManU. I like the fact that Iner is covering their back, unlike selling players like Coutinho and Motta and then panic buying
If this is true then most likely one jj or murillo will leave. I hope murillo stays
