Inter are working on reinforcing the back line for next season. One player that has been heavily linked with a move to Milan is Sassuolo’s Francesco Acerbi. According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Inter and Sassuolo are currently meeting to discuss the final details of an Acerbi-Ranocchia swap. Inter will be paying Sassuolo a small cash sum in addition to Ranocchia. Piero Ausilio and Sassuolo sporting director Carnevali will meet after the final details are settled. This is when all the parties involved will sign their respective contracts
If i’m not mistaken, Acerbi was judged twice for having cancer. We should replace frog with someone else who is in better condition. Why not take Nicolas Nkoulou of Marseille? He is still relatively young, solid defender and FREE! Just like Banega and Erkin.
And if this deal goes through and Inter also sign Garay, JJ would probably be most likely to leave and we would have 4 CB’s we so much need to compete in 3 competitions next year.
Hopefully Chelsea can brought a lot of money for JJ

I really don’t see the point in this deal! Acerbi is nothing special, we don’t need more quantity, but quality! Maybe now Acerbi is in better shape and don’t get me wrong I’m one of Ranocchia’s biggest critics. But from business point of view he’s more established name than Acerbi, national player and don’t think that he costs less than Acerbi.
I think that we should simply just get rid of Ranocchia asap. Soon enough nobody will want to take him. I don’t know much about Acerbi but he can’t be worse than Ranocchia and should prove useful as a substitute player.
Acerbi was very solid last season and impressed me in both games last season we played against them. This probably means that we are getting rid of Rano and JJ. So we are going to need some debth as we are competing in 3 fronts. It actually makes a lot of sense. He was also in the mix for the national and is left footed which gives him the edge over Rano at least in my eyes.
