In the Shareholders meeting Today at Milano, Inter officially announced that Erick Thohir will continue working as Club president with holding 31% share of the Club.
He announced today: “I’m pleased to announce that, as of today, Suning Holdings Group have purchased 68.55% of the club. I’m honoured that Mr Zhang asked me – and I have accepted – to stay on as president with a share of 31%. Meanwhile, the small shareholders will continue their historic association with this club with 0.45%”
He was evidently hopeful about Suning Deal: “This is the start – I’m sure – of a fruitful relationship between Suning and Inter”
The Indonesian Tycoon not only highlighted the future of the club but also showed his gratitude for ex President Massimo Moratti: “I thank Massimo Moratti and his family for their support. He will go on being a member of the Inter family”
