La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported Inter’s probable line-up ahead of the Nerazzurri’s pre-season friendly against CSKA Sofia in Brunico (kick-off 18:00 CEST).
Handanovic starts in goal with new signing Erkin debuting at left back alongside a central defence of D’Ambrosio and Ranocchia with Ansaldi at right back.
There will be a double-pivot in midfield comprising of Felipe Melo and Kondogbia. The three ahead of the double-pivot will be Biabiany on the right, Bessa on the left with Jovetic supporting Icardi in the central striking role.

Joao is been bought in by the Chinese and then loaned to us, Candreva wants to leave and will make the move happen, if we want for it. As for Icardi, the club will only sell for shit loads of money, because who should replace him? He’s the most scoring Argentine in serie a ever and only still 23!!!! The team should be build around him, which I think we are doing unless Arsenal or some else comes in with 60m+ offer!
i think that such an offer will arrive and then we need to accept it. but lets wait and see.
so far not so good in my eyes. erkin just played 31 minute so we can’t really rate him. number 99 is not good enough to play for the first team.. but then again this is just a friendly match, and only 2nd friendly match, we can’t judge them..

I heard genoa have some documentation problems to solve with Zenit and they have given Inter okay to start him in non competitive matches. It is reported that the problem is not something serious tho but until fully solved, Inter cannot make it official.

The only place Jovetic can play properly in a 4231 formation is af the lone forward.
Despite what some people think, Jovetic isnt all that creative and he relies a lot on proper service to play well, thus playing him as AMC rather ridiculous.
Jovetic was always a weird buy, considering Mancini switched away from 4312 (where Jovetic could do well, together with icardi, having a playmaker behind them) and changing to a 4231 with wingers.

I know this is just a friendly match and that we won’t play like this when the season starts, but this pairing of Melo and Kondogbia is just awful, not because they are bad players (Kondogbia is good and could be excellent one day, Melo is decent), but because the type of the players they are. They don’t have any creativity between themselves, it is no wonder that we couldn’t score last season. I hope Mancini learned something last season and that he won’t use central midfield without any creativity next season.

Banega can definitely play it, he started his career as a DLP. I didn’t really see that Mancini demands regista (he demands Yaya, I don’t know if he wants to play him in that role, correct term would be DLP because we will play 4-2-3-1) and only midfielders we are linked with are Yaya (that’s not gona happen), Joao Mario (only confirmed rumour) and Witsel (just rumours for now). Like I said, I hope he learned something from last season when he sold all our creative players and brought Melo and Kondogbia.

I just remebered that Mancini used this kind of midfield pairing past season, Medel-Broz, Medel-Kondo, Medel-Melo, Melo-Broz, and so on, and I still don’t know who did he thought it will work.. I just hope he won’t use any of this combination this season.
