Rome-based Corriere dello Sport reports on Roberto Mancini’s situation at Inter.
The newspaper sports the following headline on the frontpage of today’s paper: “Inter in drama: Mancini is fed up! Tonight Thohir will arrive in Portland: tomorrow decisive summit expected. The coach wants to renew his contract and wants two top purchases, otherwise he is ready to leave the Nerazzurri”.

2 top signings….I got the feeling Yaya Toure is one of it.
THIS IDIOT AND MORON,
that fucking narcissistic jerk
is BLACKMAILING HIS NEW BOSSES !!!!!
I hope he is dead walking person, but he hasn’t known that yet …
The issue Inter is having is that Mancio’s idea of a new player and management’s idea of a new player are drastically different, but both very wrong in my opinion. Mancini wants players that are new to Inter, but very much used and outdated like Toure and Zabaleta, whereas management wants new players meaning both new to Inter and young with potential, but unproven in top teams fighting for qualification and possibly even trophies. Inter should have one goal and one goal only for this upcoming season, and that is to field a team that is fully capable of competing on all fronts while maintaining a CL qualifying position. In my personal opinion, that means making more signings like Banega, a 28 year old, world class, proven champion who fits our team needs. Understandably, we’re not always going to be able to obtain those players for free, but we have I think we should have just enough money to work with. I think Inter’s current priority signings should be Candreva and Cuadrado for the RW/RM due to their optimal skill set and experience in Serie A, but obvious issues with the transfer sums being asked. Juan Mata and Joao Mario, for the right price, could be backup options, but I’m not quite sure if they’re the player types Mancini is looking for to play on the right side, Mata in particular. As for a defensive midfielder to pair with Kondogbia, I think we need to make Biglia top priority. His skill set would pair perfectly with Kondgbia’s and I think those two with Melo or Medel as rotation players could really make the difference. Other players I like for that role are Fernando of Sampdoria and as a last ditch option de Roon of Atalanta, who has potential, but the inexperience worries me in that position especially. Last, but certainly not least is a RB, which I think will be the most difficult position to fill due to availability and price. The ideal signing here in most people’s minds it seems, including my own, is Bruno Peres. The obvious issue with Peres is Torino’s asking price, which if Inter do make other purchases would be difficult to match. Because of that, I feel like Inter really dropped the ball on signing Erkin as a free transfer as opposed to Van der Wiel, but that’s in the past so we’ll have to leave it there. As for alternate options, my two favorites are Danilo of Real Madrid and Fabinho of Monaco, both methods of transfer we’ve had success with in the past meaning signing a talented, yet undervalued, Real Madrid player and them becoming world class with Inter (Sneijder, Cambiasso and Samuel) and signing a young Brazilian RB from Monaco (Maicon). As with most of the others, transfer fees seems to be a lingering issue, especially because it’s unclear how much these players’ respective teams value them. With that said, I think the best plan of action here is to sign just sign a serviceable veteran RB for now, and worry about a world class signing when the time is right. For that option I think the two best possibilities are Zabaleta and Lichtsteiner. Both players carry a risk, Zabaleta not being able to adapt to Italian football at a late age and Lichtsteiner’s health issues, but I think having a RB of their caliber, along with D’Ambrosio as a backup, could help the team enough to warrant signing them even if they’re only effective for one season. Well, that’s a bit more than my two cents, but I hope you guys appreciate my thoughts and opinions and likewise I’d appreciate to hear yours!
Oooooooooooooooooooooh Gosh !!!
are you really up there somewhere in the sky ????
can you hear that MORON ???

please act wisely as you can do,
otherwise I’ll stop believing in you, my dear Gosh….
sign bernado silva or berardi and a playmaker
True, we dont want to repeat mazzari situation, and we are also planning to sign simeone next year
Mister Almighty thinks that renewal is a birthday present, not something that you should earn with your work!
mancio = disgusting, disgusting, disgusting …
don’t let him resigns, sack him…!!
Exactly, since Mancio missed the target (CL spot) last season set by the management.
please bring back the people (marketing) behind our beautiful signings in his first era (2004-2008), maicon, cambiasso, samuel, julio cesar, maxwell, figo and so on…we need brain in this division, brain and brain
I dont blame Mancini for being annoyed about the current situation.
Nothing seems to be happening in the mercato, with Inter seemingly having wasted their time pursuing targets like Gabriel Jesus and Joao Mario who were too high profile and way too expensive for a club like Inter. This is pure incompetence from the club.
Mancini is apparently expected to perform miracles with a vastly inferior squad to Roma and Napoli (Rube are obviously on a different planet). We are talking about clubs here who are capable to scoring 80 goals in the league pr season, meanwhile Inter struggled to score a pathetic 50 last season. And then there are club officials at Inter talking about CL and even scudetto being realistic objective, hilarious to say the least.
If Inter cant give Mancini some new quality players to work with, due to FFP and incompetence to get rid of unwanted players and whatever, then they might as well just tell Mancini that this is all he gets to work with. I recon there is a fair chance Mancini actually quit then, no coach in their right mind would take over this current Inter side with such a delusional management who thinks a team that is barely capable of scoring a goal pr game through a league season should have the CL or even scudetto (lol) as its primary objective.
expensive for a club like Inter? ((( you are interistaaa?we are a big club man
Big club historically yes, but Inter are not a top european club anymore, far from it it sadly.
Inter have no spending power whatsoever. Even midtable EPL cluibs can spend far more than Inter can.
That’s only true for this current season due to the FFP. Next season will be a completely different story. With the FFP monkey off our back Suning can actually invest the 200 million Euros they planned on and match any top European club as far as spending power.
if lack of goals you said, i still blame mancini.. last season he got jovetic, perisic, ljajic (roma’s top scorer), eder (sampdoria’s top scorer), and still had icardi..they are TOP players.. yet mancini still can’t make them score more..instead always rotating them..
lol they are not top players.
Where is Ljajic now? At Torino, a club that befits his (lack of) quality.
Jovetic hadnt done anything for 2 years before joining Inter and only twice in his career has he scored over 10 goals, very overrated player.
Eder is just a random midtable serie a player. One out of a million.
They are not top team material, thats for sure.
then look for fiorentina squad, do you think they have any top players there? For forward position they have babacar, bernardeschi, zarate, kalinic and tello, yet they still can score more than inter last season. My point is, it’s up to the manager to utilize their players to the highest perform, and i think mancini failed to utilize its forwards last season.
ahahahahahahahahhhaaaaaaa, …. what a prankster !!
mancio, is it YOU ?!?!
give moneyyy for players thohiiiiiir
he is an empty shell … no brain, no money, no nothing …
Biglia and candreva
give him 2 new players and a target to win serie a..then we’ll talk about your renewal
what a joke !!
