As Gonzalo Higuain is all set to join Juventus, the Napoli management has set their eyes on Inter Captain Mauro Icardi. According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, representatives from Napoli have had a talk with Icardi’s agent. They are discussing the terms of contract. Napoli are offering €4.5-5 million with tax and bonuses tied with game performance and no. of matches played. Icardi’s agent has also asked Napoli to enter a buyout clause in his contract. Napoli will 1st try to find an agreement with Icardi and then they will ask Inter for transfer.

If we sell to Napoli, the price can be no less than 70-80 mln. As someone previously mentioned on another article, Napoli is one of our direct competitors for CL and without higuain they lose a lot of fire power. Keeping icardi could mean a better chance at CL because icardi is a good finisher for us but Napoli will lack a real star up front.
Are those guys for real? I prefer Icardi for 50 mil to EPL than Icardi to Napoli for 80 mil. Under no circumstances should we strengthen rival teams if we want to achieve something in the near future. Also, Icardi must be mad to go to a team with lower class than Inter. Also, fuck DeLaurentiis.

yup 70mln sound pretty good. and if we take 30mln for brozo, manage to sell rano and santon. then sign caseres(free), buy milik 17-20mln, zielinski 15-20mln or bazoer 20mln, berardi or other player in that position and tevez(free) and we are all ready to challenge juve….if any money remain we can still try on jesus…

I hope we confirm the work started last year with Ausillio and Mancini, last year which was our true year zero, we brought in quality players like Kondogbia, Miranda, Murillo, Perisic, Brozzo, Eder, Jojo and more, and this year many of those are been confirmed in the squad, this our “year two”, and now we’ll add a couple of new faces to the squad and next year we’d buy big – not may I think just players for the top drawer…
What makes you think Inter can spend big next summer?
Even if Suning gets a new deal with UEFA its not like there will be unlimited spending allowed.
Not to mention that if Inter misses out on CL football again (which is likely since napoli and roma are significantly stronger), then it will limit the spending again and even if there is money to go around then it will be difficult to attract great players without CL football.
Hmm, the deal Inter signed with the Ueaf in January I think it was, dictated us not to be in more than -30mil minus this season – if I remember correctly, and then next year not to be in much lesser minus (think it was 10mil) and then the 3. year to breK even. Now, we are already in minus 50 if I remember correctly,s o selling players and saving salouries on these players plus the saloury we have been paying for years to Mazzarri plus a way to raise our ravenous are all very important for this summers transfer campaigne.
Next year we should have reached our goals about not being in more than minus 10 with the CL football we are aiming for. And therefor we can spend like crazies next summer.
As for Naopli and Roma I do not see them as being stronger than last year; Roma has lost Pjanic and Digne, to great players for them and more could follow and no one has arrived. Napoli is about to lose the only mega star they have; Higuain, and where does that leave Hamsik who at the moment is negotiation for a new contract? The defensive monster Kouli-something, is leaving as well this summer, so stronger?? No way! You’re right! Just little correction, June 30, 2016 we have to be minus 30 million, June 2017 we have to break even. And this transfer window because of FFP restrictions, we can buying players only with the money we gain from outgoing players. Next summer the deal with UEFA is expiring and Suning can renegotiate the rules.
