Italian media have this morning suggested that Inter are thinking about a move for ex-Ajax Coach Frank De Boer should Roberto Mancini leave his job.
The Dutchman’s agent Guido Albers had this to say to Voetbal International:
“We have not heard anything from Inter. They are a good team but at the moment we can only wait. Frank is available.”

Don’t understand all the fuss about Frank de Boer, yes he was great with Ajax winning for 3 years in a row the Dutch title, but he has non international experience what so ever as a coach and as a player he did play 4-5 years with Barca, so he knows the Spanish league very well but he has never sat his foot in Italy neither as a player nor as a coach…. I’m not fond of him and he has never been the coach of a huge club that has to win every single game AND at the same time develope young players, except from in Holland.
If we are going for a coach who’s available on a free there are quite a number of interesting guys out there with loads of experience; Bielsa, Leonardo ( not my favorite though), Capello and my own favorite; LAURANT BLANC! He knows Italian football and Inter from his time with us as a player, he knows how to handle the pressure from being at a big club and knows how to handle both youngsters and champions in his team.
what do you mean he has “international experience”? he has beaten several big teams which include mancio’s Man city in the champions league. and he was an assistant coach in 2010 world cup finalist’s.
“he has never sat his foot in Italy neither as a player nor as a coach” mourinho never did that either……
also he developed big players such as luis Suarez, erikson while winning 4 league titles in a row. with a 60.7%.
ur comment makes no sense at all
All of those things you meantime do he did with Ajax a huge team in Holland not one of the biggest league in the world at all… Mourinho? He won with Porto and Chelsea before joining us – he had already proven himself before joining us at a big club with a lot of pressure and big egos like at Chelsea…
Developing players and selling them off is not what I hope Inter is turning into; we’re not Udinse, Sassuolo or Genoa WE’RE INTER, and should always God for the best players!!
If suning wants young players, De Boer is the perfect coach.
we never know, its serie a we’re talking about. less coaches wants to develop young players, except they are ready to stand all along with people’s demands, and if they do, usually they’re not going anywhere upper than 5th place. are we ready to do that? support each other to develop our youths, because such as strama, he’s just brought us at 9th…
under Strama we lost 13 main players due to injuries in 2nd half of the season, can’t say I blame him.
yeah, but still he’s sacked because nobody wants inter in the 9th place regarding whatever the reasons, though
he just didn’t have the chance, we were 2nd place before the injuries happened.
yep, i know the feeling bro, i’m in that mood that time…we’re in high moon at half season, then the situation worse, they just goin down at the end of the season
but is this guy really like better than mancini ? cause i have doubts
