Premium Sport have been reporting on the situation concerning Inter’s bench after reports yesterday that Roberto Mancini is thinking about handing in his resignation.
According to the television outlet if Mancini were to leave then the first choice would be Leonardo to take interim charge until June 2017Â with the plan being to bring in Diego Simeone from Atletico Madrid after this.

I would prefer to see De Boer but I’m not sure if he’d want to take control for only one year. I like Leonardo too and he would probably be offered a director role of some sort at the end of the year.
Simeone won’t come to an EL-team, therefore we need the best available to drive us to CL. and that is De Boer…
with Leonardo, i think there is no chance to reach CL (just like with mr. x), he hasnt been a coach for nearly 5 years now
Even with Mourinho as coach, this current inter team would be quite big underdogs for a CL spot.
The difference in quality between Inter and Roma/Napoli is just too great currently for it to be realistic.
Roma and Napoli have both lost their best players, why would they be better than us? Our squad is just as good as theirs, Mancini doesn’t seem to have any offensive ideas though.
Because their teams are better? Even without Pjanic and Higuain, both those teams have better players in every position apart from CB’s GK and then Icardi.
Napoli also have 94m to play around with now.
The main problem is that Inters offense is vastly inferior to that of those two teams and Banega (who isnt even a real AM) and perhaps Candreva wont be enough to close the gap to make Inter really competitive.
2nd and 3rd spot are surely Napoli and Roma’s to lose.
I don’t agree with that. Hamsik and Allan would go straight into our starting eleven, maybe Koulibaly instead of Murillo, apart from them our players are better or on the same level. It’s about how you use them. Roma have a great midfield but I think that our defense and goalkeeper is better, and that our attack is on the same level. I think we should be able to compete with the current squad, especially with Candreva and maybe another quality midfielder.
If you look at the current squads I think that Juve would win and the second place should be a fight between us and Roma, also with some competition from Napoli and maybe Fiorentina, Torino or Milan.
gk position is good, only we need back up different from carizzo,
defence need adjustments but if we secure caceres for free and get rid of saanton, rano, we will need one more defender.
if we sell icardi(because of his behaviour this summer, he is like cunt, his wife cant talk such bullshits without his knowledge) and brozo for total 100mln then we can take what we need to reinforced our team. and i personally still thinks that if offer arrives for jovetic he should be let go. he is incosistent, injury prone, selfish, with a lot of potential but we cant wait forever for his magic.
