The former Lazio player completed medicals and has signed for the Nerazzurri. Inter fans have been waiting months for this news and it is now finalized.
Candreva has signed a four-year contract, with the exact fees not released as of yet.

Berardi at his best can’t be on par with Candreva. The boy is not even at Azzuri level, while Candreva has been an integral part of Lazio and Italy gameplay in recent years. He is a workhouse which is able to play as CM, L/RW, and even CAM.
Adding to this, he is at least 10M cheaper than Berardi.

Either way this is making for an exciting season and I see us possibly using the winter window to sell more, and this window to buy more. It only makes sense then we can balance funds
Yes, he rejected Napoli and waited for Inter. Then when Lotito didn’t drop his 25m Euro asking price, Candreva agreed to let go 2m of wages in order for Inter to meet with Lazio’s transfer fee [500k/season x 4 seasons].

Wut? I feel like the only reason Napoli are pushing so hard to get Icardi is cause they know they fucked up selling Higuain to Juventus, making them stronger. So now they want to do the same with us. Why else give so much for Mauro and not chase Lukaku, Cavani, Morata, Lacazette or some of the other high-profile attackers. Right now we’re on par with Napoli and Roma IMO, if we get Gabigol we’d be in the lead.
Napoli already brought in Milik. While he is a bit wasteful he should prove well since Napoli create alot of chances. They also still almost a month left to spend the rest of the Higuain money. They will reinforce further no doubt, regardless of Icardi.

Inters midfield is vastly inferior to them and Inter backs just sucks completely, really sad that they havent managed to find some better backs. Banega, who has always been quite inconsistent, is unlikely to be anywhere near enough of an upgrade to improve the midfield tbh.
Perisic, Icardi and Candreva should be just as good as anything Napoli and Roma can field in attack, but Inters depth is much worse. Jovetic is a joke who hasnt done anything in 3 seasons and only twice before that did he score over 10 goals in a season. Meanwhile Eder is just a small time player who isnt very good at handling pressure and biabia is…. just biabia..
If Inter can really challenge for the CL spots next season will probably boil down to the CB’s and Handanovic. Miranda and Murillo must stay injury free, if ranocchia has to replace one of them for longer periods then the season will be lost already.
I see your point. Surely the FB’s will make us cringe for yet another year, tho it’s too early to evaluate the new ones. I have somewhat high hopes for Ansaldi, not so much for Caner. We might end up using Dumbo and Samurai Shitmoto again. But in the mid you’ve got Banega, Brozo, Kondo, Medel and only 2 of them will play if Mancini keeps the current system.
In attack surely Icardi > Dzeko and Milik, tho you’re right Napoli aren’t done buying new players. The question is ofc which of those high profile attackers will want to join them. Perisic is on par with Insigne, Salah and Callejon, Candreva I really hope pulls out a beast season. I’ve always though Jojo needs time to calm down, he started amazingly but then became way too inconsistent. Eder is a good sub.
I think we’re on par with Napoli and Roma because they lost their most important players to Rube, and whoever they get as replacement will need time to adapt. In the meantime we sold noone (so far) and I really hope that the period of transition is over and those guys can start playing as a team. The biggest problem imo will be Mancini himself ofc, but I don’t wanna start with him.
I really haven’t seen much of banega at all but wasn’t he a fundimental cog for the team that won EL back to back? That’s an incredible achievement. I assume you watch the Spanish league and have seen him play quite a lot? Can you elaborate on him as I’m completely in the dark and assumed he was world class?

Morata is shit, Cavani as well, I agree. But Lukaku is a beast an quite similar to Higuain in characteristics. And Napoli were offering 6,5 mil/y to Icardi, image rights too, so could have went up to ~9. That’s high even for EPL money. But so far they haven’t even tried for somebody else, as far as we know anyway.
