Javier Zanetti was interviewed by Inter Channel following the 6-1 defeat against Tottenham and he was anything but happy.

“It’s never nice to lose, especially 6-1. That said, if we analyse the game and focus on the first half, although there is a lot of work to do, I have to say that there were some positive things in there too. Banega? “That’s Banega all over, he has real personality. He’s always looking for team-mates in better positions and he’s certainly going to help us. We’ve still got two weeks to go until our first competitive fixture and we need to do everything we can and more to get there in the best shape possible.”

“Even when you lose like we have tonight it’s still a good test because we were up against a team that starts their league season next week. We can’t look for excuses. Let’s accept the defeat and get back to work” Zanetti concluded.
