Well thats what happens when you split up the team in two parts and send more or less the B team and the youngsters on a promotion tour to the US. Great if you have all the time in the world, but not so great if you now only have a couple of weeks to get the new players integrated to the team and prepare for the season. And on top of that you now have a club with a lot of embarrasing losses in recent memory. Even if they are meaningless matches, it’s not healthy for a the mentality of top athletes. I hope the management of Inter found it worthwhile from a business perspective. From a football perspective it was a catastrophy..

The team that split up and trained in Italy were Copa and Euro players who still need some rest, just come back from their holiday and need some time get back to their fitness level.
Maybe its better to be strict from the beginning. If we dont trust some players just dont give them the ticket to have promotion pre-season..like how Santon are being fled to US just after failed his medical, or Melo and Rano that keeps playing..its much much better to field youngster, they will grow in confidence and we can start to see their potential..

There has been improvements in terms of marketing and sponsors and stuff like that, but after all the brand is first and foremost about Inter..a football club, and I don’t understand how to make the brand stronger when you get humiliated 4-1 to Bayern and then 6-1 to Tottenham, even if they were pre-season matchs!!
