Gianluca Di Marzio reports on his homepage that Inter are hot on the trails of Zenit’s Argenitnian central defender, Ezequiel Garay.
According to the report the “Argentine defender born in 1986 has once again become a hot name for the nerazzurri in the past couple of hours. The player is currently owned by Zenit and Inter have asked Lucescu about the possibility of negotiations escalating.”
I wonder why santon always failed his medical check. Is there a problem with him?
His knees were broken few years ago. They just can’t be repaired anymore. He is done. Only the great R9 who can recovered from such knee injuries.

Sadly, buying over-the-hill stars is one of the only options Inter have, considering they cant attract or afford younger players in their prime, but its very risky.

For the defense, I’d rather experience player than young talent. We have learnt from the past that young talent is not enough for our defending system. Yeah, I remember the days when people say Juan Jesus & Rano were wonderkids, promising talents.
It’s not easy to find good young CB like Murillo. I think he was good last season because of pairing him with experience player like Miranda as well.
Ooh and the Treble came after we bought Lucio. He is for sure not young at that time 🙂
Murillo got destroyed yesterday. I really hope it’s just lack of fitness or bad form, but having just Miranda as a good defender is really pushing our luck.
Murillo is still young for a defender,he needs more experiance but i think he has great potential and we should stick with him and maybe just add another good experianced CB who can rotate with Murillo (If Miranda keeps playing like he did last season he is apsolutly irreplaceable and should play every game,it is not like he is getting younger so we should use him as much as we can while he is still world class)…
I think if we could get a player like Garay we would have a very good 3 CBs for rotation including Murillo (who can grow further with Miranda and Garay by his side) whom i expect to be the first choice CB in next 10 years..
Miranda also played badly yesterday..but how ansaldi, dumbro, kondog, bia…or erkin, melo and naga that already played together for 1 month cannot find eachother with simple passes and movement thats what worries me.

Santon is coming back after failing medicals again, D’umbo won’t be sold, so we’re stuck with what we’ve got.
We also need another good CB and Garay could fit in well,there is no decent sub for Miranda and Murillo and we might use his experiance when Murillo doesn’t play at his best (which he does sometimes) (Rano is shit,Andreoli is a mystery after that injury and he is 30,Medel can fill in but he is short and tall players would own him he is also not a natural CB, D’ambrosio is shit)..But yeah i agree on fullacks lol
Medel is better as a CB in compare to CDM. in chille he always played CB and does it very well. i think our 4 CB’s should be Miranda, Murillo, Medel and Andreolli. our 4 FB’s should be Ansaldi, Erkin, Santon/New one and Dodo/new one. Dodo gave a good a half season in samp, and i think santon is decent and could be good under a coach who believes in him. dumb and naga need to get the fuck out. By the way Telles and Montoya were good.
