It has been a hectic day for Inter to say the least. Roberto Mancini is expected to leave the nerazzurri with Frank De Boer stepping to replace the Italian. Here are all the headlines from the main Italian papers:
La Gazzetta Dello Sport: ‘Manciao.’ Inter make a U-turn. De Boer will take control of the bench. He will sign a three year contact worth 1.5 million euros per year. Mancini will not train the team today. The club are working on a consensual resolution.
Il Corriere Dello Sport: Mancini leaves. There is De Boer. The Dutchman will take control of the bench. The relationship between Mancini and Inter went downhill after the coach refused a renewal and he also did not have enough of a say on the transfer market. There is an agreement with the former Ajax coach.

OMG this is amazing news! Welcome FDB! My depression is over. I couldnt believe they offered Mancio a renewal. Mancini lost the faith of the players long time ago, his tactics were poor, his attitude even worse, so why give him a renewal? The 1-6 defeat was so embarrassing, not even small teams like Chievo or Palermo loose like that even though it was a friendly, that was a clear indication that they lost faith in him and wanted him out. Reminds me of Mou’s final time at Chelsea, when certain players wanted him out.

Again Mancini make the same mistakes that he was done in 2008, lack of manner and attitude. I am not saying that Mou was a better tactician but in this area, Mou was and always the king. Every press conference that Mou attended was masterpiece. Mancini should improve in this area if he still want to gain more success in the future.

Even with full financial power, Mancini never did anything in CL, Mourinho won the CL with Porto, u can’t compare these 2 as tacticians.
I just point out Jose skill in which Mancini lack off. We all know that Jose more capable at motivating (grow winning mentality) and do PR job (including protect his team from over pressure). Take this out from Jose and you see what happen to Chelsea last season.

Most of us saying that the timing is not rite. For me it’s better to sack him now rather than on week 5 or 11 when we are at the number 10 or 11 of the league. Mancini proved last year that he is clueless in tactics and in choosing players. I don’t really think FDB can make this team great again (hopefully i was wrong) as in my opionion we need a “tough” manager like mou or simeone, simply that most of our shit players think that they are on par with CR7 or Messi and for this we need someone who dare to knock their head really really hard!

Mancini didnt want to sign the renewal because it had to meet certain objectives (probably like reaching CL). Of course he wasnt going to sign it bc he knows he cant get Inter to the CL, he just wanted a renewal and free money.

I defend mancini to complete his mission for 2016/2017, but mancini seems to make this problem more complicated, therefor if Inter choose to replace him with de boer, I will support this decision, and I hope de boer can make Inter fly again

Good financial deal if true. De Boer set to make €1.5m net. Mancio was on €4m last report I saw. Termination payment is hoped to be €2m.
So sacking Mancini with termination payment and hiring De Boer is actually cheaper than letting Mancini stay this year… 3.5m vs 4m. Or another way to look at it, De Boer costs almost the same for 3 years as Mancio does for 1… 4.5m vs 4m.
Given Mancinis reported attitude and inability to reconcile with Thohir and Suning, despite their efforts to do so, I think he had to go. A sulky or bitter manager is not going to get top 3 results from the best of teams let alone one struggling to get there.
Good luck De Boer. His resume looks impressive but somewhat difficult conditions for his first stint managing in a top league.

Dont judge management at all. They sacked mancini because of mancini’s fault. He didnt show manner and desire in couple friendly matches. He’s just acting like a king to club owner with no compromise. It’s just cant be tolerated even by fan. I used to believe in him, but no more.
