“I can confirm that we have received an offer from Inter for Gabigol. Now we are only waiting for the final decision from the player and his family. If the family gives their approval then we can define the details with Inter and close the deal. Will things accelerate after the Olympics? Probably yes, we are all waiting.”

I know that friendlies results don’t matter. But a team never gains winning mentality by getting trashed in several friendly games. He can evaluate the players in the trainings, find his favorite starting line-up, and have a true test in the game against Celtic.

actually i read somewhere that we and juve offered the same amount to the club but we offered more money to the family, more than juve or other clubs are willing to offer them. So i think we’re ahead in the race to sign him

Dnt think its stalling. Its common practice to wait after a tournament to sign. And besides that its just good business.
Thankfully only Juve and Inter made offers for him. Not Leicester, the players agent lied about it according to Santos President. I wouldn’t go to Juve to fight for places against Higuain, Dybala, Mandzukic, Zaza and Pjaca if i was him. That leaves Inter as hot favourites specially if they sell Icardi. For now….at least. Until some other club make an offer and steals him right from under our noses. We are getting used to that by now.
