Piero Ausilio looks set to continue his adventure with Inter as the sporting director is close to the renewal of his contract with the Nerazzurri, as told by Gazzetta dello Sport this morning: “Next week, that which brings the beginning of the championship, could be the week in which the contract which expires on the 30th June 2017 could be extended. Next week should also mark the moment of return to Italy of the president Erick Thohir both for the start of the championship and to address the renewals of the directors with expiring contracts”.
