Lacazette will cost at least 50-60 million euros. Even for injury-prone Diego Costa, his club will still ask at least 40 million euros to get. Selling Icardi now is suicide, you cant go and replace him with anyone els right now. Yes we have Eder and Jovetic, but Jovetic wont go out and score 15-20 goals. Eder maybe will, but thats only ONE forward. Players like Diego Costa or Sanchez that has been linked to Inter is not true at all. I will prefer Lacazette as replacement to Icardi, but we wont get him because he’ll end up in PL.
Icardis value wont go down next season, he’ll still be worth 60+, because he’ll score a bunch of goals for us. And if we dont enter CL next season, then i’ll agree, sell him and buy players that are hungry.
first off there is no way he scores 15-20 goals. he might score 10 if we are lucky and half of them will me PKs. Second its not suicide at all, its smart and good a business tactic. he’s not a team player and more of a cancer in the lockeroom.

I saw that you added something to your previous comment, I have to disagree, we now have Banega and Candreva who could also provide the balls to Icardi and possibly J. Mario. And arguably better coach in De Boer, so I would be very suprised if Icardi scores less then 15 this season.
inter need icardi, he can score with his head too, and candreva is on the right crosses will come in to him, he will be supplied from the left and right, and banega can supply from the middle
Never saw Barbosa playing but 19 year old kid with two season in Brazil surely isn’t ready to be starting striker for Inter.

The reason he scored less last season was because he got almost no service at all. Anyone who actually watched the games last season would know this, Inter struggled to create chances all season long.
He had the highest conversion rate of all relevant forwards in serie a last season. Topscorer Higuain had over 3x times shots pr game compared to Icardi, because he had better service.
Icardi scored more the season before because he had more creative midfielders in Hernanes, Kovacic and to a degree Guarin to set up plays.
Next season, with Banega and Joao Mario, Inter will have creativity and proper passing in midfield again + Candreva on the right wing, so chances are quite high that Icardi will score over 20+ next season.
i watched every game last season and my opinion still is the same. just because i have a different theory on Icardi does;t mean i don’t have a clue.
I will definitely agree with you regarding having better support upfront this year as compared to last season. I just personally think he’s a bit overrated and a cancer on the team. With his selfish play and annoying wife sideshow.

I was going to say similar too. I’m big Argentina fan and I’m always happy when I see Argentines at Inter but refusing 62M offer for Icardi who is not world class forward at all is really weird.
Sure icardi is lazy but he has a talent for finishing and he often makes the most of his chances. He had the highest goal/shot ratio of any player in Europe through a good part of last season. We now put a proper midfield around him in perisic, banega, candreva, kondo and Joao Mario. He will score plenty of goals this season. I just don’t see us finding a proper replacement for him for less than we sell him for and gabigol needs time, can’t expect him to start for inter when he’s never played in Italy.
Yeah and i think arsenal and napoli wont try to pay 60mill for icardi for no reason… his finishing and goal/shot ratio is incredible. I dont think higuain will score as much as icardi if he was at icardi position. Paying 90mill for higuain is crazy! Old and always missing on a final… Milito is more reliable than him and worht more than higuain. Scoring in every final…
I dont think selling icardi is a wise choise. Only if onyl someone crazy enough to buy him at 80-90million, it is a different case. He might not worth 60mill now, but later he would be. And if you think he cannot score more than 10 goals this season you absolutely crazy. 16 goals scored with a fucking minimal service is not bad at all! It is because football nowadays is a lil bit crazy as messi and ronaldo keep scoring 50goals a season that 16 goals a season just like a bad thing. And even messi wont score as much as he did with barca if he was a t inter with a depleted midfield and depleted service. Keep your head straight please
