I’m actually excited about him. We have many good players, but I feel he will be quick, exciting, and give us some flat back. Perisic is a beast and efficient at his role, Icardi is lethal, and Candreva is technical and clinical as well, but non have a flair to them, which is fine. I’m just really excited for what Mario can bring to the table in that aspect
Still wondering why him, don’t mind to see him in our team but for such a high price…. something must be wrong there—
And Inter keep chasing him like crazy, definitely something wrong there…
45 mil. for player that is not world class and who actually worth 15-20 mil. (if that much)…We are doomed
He’s prob worth closer to 35mill
Just looked it up, his value is 30mill
This is a rip off. Now that Pep doesn’t even let Yaya on the bench, we should get him for cheap. He would definitely agree to cut his wages. Same goes for Fabregas…
Although I have always been a fan of Yaya, he is not the kind of player we need for De Boer high pressure style of play. That’s prolly one of the reason Guardiola never wanted him too.
Dude, Yaya is still physically capable in Serie A. Remember Pat Viera. He is physically not weaker than Pat if not stronger, when he joined Inter. And his intelligence would enormously help Inter to hold position, because we would have 3 players with good control over the ball (him, Ever, and K-dog) in the midfield.
Joao mario is a star and he will fit in perfectly but forget about ya ya toure waste of money we need back up central defenders and lb/rb as well we are weak al, over the back
Even if Yaya cut his wages in half I think he’d still be one of the highest paid player on Inter. Not worth it.
Maybe 3mill/yr but he would never accept that.
You never know! Cause Pep doesn’t even let him sit on the bench. 2 year contract 3.5m/year would be fair.
If he had wanted to cut his wages for playing with us, he would have pushed his ass here long time ago. Seriously, did you know how much Yaya earns at ManCity? It’s almost $15 million per year! That like the total wages for 5-6 top paid players at Inter combined. Moreover, there must be good reasons why Pep left him on the bench.
That was before, Yaya had no idea that Pep would treat him like this. EPL speed wise is much more demanding than Serie A.
I understand Suning’s policy and I support it, but letting Sporting ripping us off is also wrong.
I want to see Gabigol and Darmian with us and paying 45m for JaoMario will shatter my dreams..
In fact, years ago Pep forced him to leave Barca. So probably for Yaya now, money smells better than the grass. If he really wanted to play, he would take the decision to leave ManCity months ago.
Actually, we’re already too late and have wasted too much time because of Mancio’s drama and Wanda slutty attitude. Bruno Peres and Sime Vrsaljko would have been our best chance to say goodbye to fantastic four of mediocre fullbacks we have now (Santon, Dodo, Nagatomo, Dumbrosio).
u forgot to add erkin into mediocre fullbacks
Dodo is gone. 2 years loan with obligation to buy. Nagatomo will be with us for lifetime unfortunately.
unfortunatelly they wouldnt agree to cut wages. they’ll just sit on the bench for a season and take buy a ticket to middle / far east…
I’d rather updates on what other teams are doing in the transfer market than this. Particularly the fact that Roma just signed Bruno Peres on a season long loan for €1 mil with a €13.5 mil option to buy. How/why is Inter getting beat to a top quality RB by a rival team that already has a top quality RB?
Yup. Just makes me mad. At this point I’d rather have Peres than another midfielder. Roma got him for a song. We seriously couldn’t have offered that?
Hm with Anseldi we don’t need him.. What we do need is Mario, another defender and maybe another striker to help Icardi out – Eder seems more like a winger to De Boer…
Did you know that Ansaldi is already injured and will be unavailable for the next 30 days? Sounds great, isn’t it? Hopefully his legs will not become another Santon 2.0.
We need a new full back/defender, a midfielder and a striker. Get Daley Blind, Joao Mario and Gabigol/Lucas Alario. After that offload all junks (Rano, Dodo, Melo, Palacio) that still in the recycle bin and then we’re done for good. But Inter have to move faster. Time is running out.
Anseldi will most likely only miss one game because of the two weeks break after the games this weekend!
then who start in the other fullback position? right… nagalolo
Naga or Ambros… I actually do not hate Nagatome like a lot in here do, but a first choice player he isn’t, but still, this one game he might be fine in( Anseldi is out but after this game there’ll be a two weeks break for the internationals meaning Anseldi most likely will be bake after that)
I do like him as a person, but his footballing skill is mediocre yet he become a regular player in Inter for what? 6 year and 140 caps.. legend
The trueth is that we have been mediocre for sex years and therefor Naga has been allowed to stay along plus for market resons. But nex year when we get to spend big time, he’ll be a gonna!
We certainly do. Ansaldi is the first fullback we’ve signed since Chivu back in ’07 that has the abilities to prove he is true first team quality. Erkin could prove to be as well, but I have my doubts about him. Even still, with EL this season, we will be seeing Nagatomo and D’Ambrosio much more than most fans would like. If we signed another fullback, preferably a RB, that would ensure that Nagatomo and D’Ambrosio only see the field sparingly as subs or against weaker opposition.
What a shame we lost a golden chance to reinforce our weak spot..
I don’t know but these Portuguese clubs are some seriously greedy mofo.. I thought it was only Porto but obviously it’s a pattern over there.
Not to protect what they are doing, but apparently sporting has had many problems with their finances and had to get a big loan with banks, so they are in huge debts but there is not much income from their team so they need to get as much as possible from this.(The loan fee is so high because the banks have a cut from the sale money not the loan fees according to some Portuguese supporters)
Come on, the faster the better !
the best come to the ones that wait
