Arrigo Sacchi has had his say on new Inter coach Frank De Boer, as well as various other issues, in his Corriere della Sera column. The ex-Milan gaffer spoke in positive terms regarding the Dutchman, less so about Inter’s overall prospects for the forthcoming season: “I know him very well and I really like him. He is a great student of the game and he was successful with Ajax without a large budget. However, it will be difficult to make a breakthrough without many of his own players. Inter, at the moment, I think are one big question mark.”

probably well said. nontheless I think FDB will top Mancio at least at choosing players and in timely substitution making & making better player choices >>> 2 reasons why we lost at least 10 pts last season. mancio sucked at those
I think this season’s Inter will be the near polar opposite to last year’s Inter. We will start slow, struggling slightly defensively, but showing good possession, build up play and have plenty of scoring chances. We’ll drop points early due to high scoring draws and some losses, but ultimately once the player’s are accustomed to De Boer’s tactics, we should find a nice run of form where everything is clicking. Inter, Roma and Juve are all a testament to the fact that how you start a season is not a direct indication on how you will end it. Consistency is the key, which was obviously lacking under Mancini, and I think De Boer can bring that.
