he probably used a 3 man defense because he couldn’t trust rano in a 2 man defense. it might have been 5-0 if rant was back there alone because miranda can’t do it all by himself
Personally I would go with Eder to start over candreva.He needs some time still as he looked really leggy last game..maybe give him a rin around 60th min mark or so and I think FDB woild stick with a midfield of Kdog,medel and banega.Idk the drama with Brozo but he should be used somehow as well.
FDB should try 4-4-2 as follows:
Icardi – Eder
Perisic – Kondogbia – Banega – Candreva
Santon – Murillo – Miranda – D’Ambro
Handanovic
And Also NO MEDEL, He can’t distribute ball, doesnt know how to attack, slowing down the ball circulation ! MELO Much Better ..

Santon…yeah he failed his medical (3 times!) and should be better than the other players vying for the fullback position…Melo? Even if melo is a better passer it makes no sense having him on for 30 mins before he either 1.gets a red card or 2. Gives up a penalty.There is no place in this team for him.That team you mentioned to start minus santon would only work against smaller opposition and still might not work.The opponents would be in on goal so easily as none of the midfielders mentioned apart from maybe kondogbia is defensively capable.Medel must start for now and even when a regista comes he must stay to play/challenge murillo and miranda for a CB start and available should suspension/injury arise.
Gnukouri is good player if he gets the chance lime the milan game he will do good better then medel in my opinion
if you want to put banega as CM with that formation, you’ll need medel for sure.. ^^

there is no way that we can survived without medel in that formation… melo!? then we will surely play with 10 men.. with the formation you made you need a destroyer to slow down the opponent.. so banega and k-dog can focus more in attack..
Or always try new formation with new starting line up. LOL
