Speaking to La Gazzetta del Sport, Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic said that the preseason tour that the team took in the United States during the summer was not exactly the best preparation for the start of the season, following a loss to Chievo Verona during the weekend.

‘”We took part in a tour where we had only half of our squad and there was little time between games and traveling to do any actual training.”

With the sacking of Roberto Mancini and replacement in Frank de Boer, it makes sense that the timing for the players has become a bit difficult to get accustomed to.

“I think every coach needs at least three months of work to be able to transmit their own ideas.”, he said.
