Gazzetta dello Sport report that during last night Inter found an agreement with Sporting over the transfer of Joao Mario.

According to the report, Inter will loan the Portuguese international midfielder but with a clause that stipulates that the Nerazzurri must make the transfer permanent at the end of the season. The entire value of the transfer is €45 million but wont be paid out all at once. Joao Mario is expected to sign a 5 year deal where he will earn € 3 million net per season at Inter.

For now, the Gazzetta reports further, youngster Pedro Delgado won’t be included in the deal. The reason is that Delgado and Sporting are yet to find an agreement whilst Inter and Sporting have struck a deal regarding the player. However, the two clubs have decided to first conclude the Joao Mario deal before concluding the Delgado deal in order to avoid any further delays. “All that is missing is for the 2 clubs to make the transfer official” Gazzetta concludes.
