jovetic

With the impending arrival of Gabriel Barbosa to Inter, Stevan Jovetic would likely see his playing chance decrease even further. Few months ago, Jovetic has publicly bemoaned his lack of playing time under Roberto Mancini and has warned that he would not accept similar treatment this season. Considering that Frank de Boer does not see Jovetic as his first-choice forward, Inter management is working hard to find a solution that works both for the club and the player. At the moment, Jovetic’s former club, Fiorentina, is trying to secure the service of the Montenegrin striker. While the formula to sign the player from Inter is still unclear, a former Fiorentina defender, Cesare Natali, has thrown his support behind the idea of Jovetic returning to the club that launched the striker’s career.

Speaking to TMW Radio, Natali states the following:

“I think the deal [which would send Jovetic to Fiorentina] would be ideal solution for both the player who wants to re-launch his career after not so positive season last year and for the coach of Fiorentina. Jovetic needs consistency. Returning to Fiorentina would provide him with the conducive environment and the platform to re-launch his career. With the qualities that he has, Jovetic can make the difference for Fiorentina.”
