A respected journalist, Giancarlo Padovan, shared his thoughts on the scudetto race for the 2016/2017 Serie A. Speaking with TMW Radio, Padovan predicts one of the most wide open championship contests in years. Below is the summary of his interview.
“The current Serie A championship is an open race. Napoli did very well on the transfer market. Inter was not only able to retain its best players, but also able to acquire strong players. A.S. Roma is a team that could go far even though it lost two points against Cagliari. Juventus should not think that it has already won the scudetto because football often defies predictions. Juventus will try even harder to win the Champions League, but to say that the team could win it would be premature.”

Inter’s record of 5 league wins and ucl crowning haunt juventus, trying to better that record with 6 leagues and ucl crowning, I see them getting to the semi finals but it’s still between Germans and Spanish, English clubs won’t be competing, man city only threat but they lack that mental egde needed.
