Caner Erkin hit out at Frank De Boer upon joining Besiktas but Turkish outlet TotoSpor reveal the true reason behind his move back home so soon after joining. De Boer plied his trade in Turkey with Galatasaray and asked some of his Turkish contacts for opinions on the full back as he had little knowledge on him. The reports he got back lead him to believe Erkin wasn’t ready for Italian football and he therefore decided to move him on.

got really tired of these news ><" !
ok our fullbacks are horrible,,,,confirmed,,,,endpoint .
We bought 2 FB this year, one is injured and the other has been sold, but instead of buying quality FB as replacement we buy 3 midfield, Im sure that in the end de boer will keep saying our FB is weak and we need to buy FB, but you know how it will end up
You don’t need quality fullbacks if you have an exceptional midfield. We play a 4-5-1 essentially, with good midfielders that ball should never reach the CB’s let alone the wings.
The most important players in football play down the middle of the field. Take a look at Barcelona, for years (and still to this day), their defense is meh. Their mid is wtf good.
santon is not even ready for indian league then
one thing is fer sure is that he is not healthy enough to pass a physical in order to play in a different league !
Im telling interstas these things ! you don’t need to get involve in the conversation of the fans that have triple in their clubs trophy room, get involved when someone say the letter B, and you know well what B means
Lolll..spot on
i only know what happened in the last 5 years and 5 years is a very long time you know….so what has inter won in those last 5 years? NOTHING ! do the new owners even have a key to the trophy cabinet? probably not cuz inter will not add anything to it for many years to come….
so are you saying that Santon and Dumbo are ready?!?!?!?
IRONY my friend, a bitter one !
I don’t claim he was ready, but rano, santon, dumbro… are born and raised in italy …
must be totally ready for italian football !!
hehe, patience for next five years is needed for them,,,
Dude, Nagatomo and D’umbo are not even ready for Serie B. How bad must you be to get booted off a squad with those two geniuses in? I’m not buying this shit. He probably did something dumb and pissed off Good Frank.
santon is even worst than them two, but all of our fullbacks are failures, if you watched the game versus Bayern you will see how bad they are serie c level
Santon is clearly unfit, might be due to fitness issues or medical condition in need of surgery. He failed two medicals. But at least he’s not retarded. Every freaking time you see Nagatomo look up right before he crosses and you wonder why does he even bother. That ball ain’t never reaching anyone.
naga catches up with fast wingers thought and bothers them like he did with salah, santon is just booboo
And still he is.that freaking fast, but still very dumb to catch them? Im sorry bro, not defending santon here, but naga is just naga. He’s fast yes, but for a football tactic in inter? Nahh..And for santon, yeah might be he didn’t develop from a young warrior who can stop ronaldo during his early time at mou’s era :/
LOL… Still doesnt understand why still we keep that man (Nagha). Maybe we must bring him home, to japan league…
HAHAHAHA.. Good one.

Or perhaps Erkin doesn’t speak English or Italian, so he couldn’t understand shit from training.
I’m assuming De Boer heard the same things from his Turkish contacts as I read from many Turkish fans, and that’s that he has very good ability going forward, but is a defensive liability, often losing his marker and not tracking back after getting forward. If we were deploying 3 at the back then he could’ve sufficed, but with a 4 man line, your fullbacks need to be committed to playing defense at all times. I’m hoping that Darmian becomes fed up at United and we can go after him in January, that way we have component starting fullbacks once Ansaldi returns. After that the only place this Inter team needs necessary improvements is at CB, mostly just for depth, but someone who can compete with Murillo for a starting spot would be welcomed.
We have enough cb, Mira muri medel and Andre, give rano to sassuolo as present, ansaldi can be extra cover as needed.
the thing is that we cant let murillo get too comfortable, he is not that professional yet (too young), or else he will suck like the second half of last season, we need to pressure him and let him know he can be replaced, with rano as back up he will do as he likes
We have enough CBs on paper, but in reality it is much different. Miranda and Murillo are our undoubted starters, and Medel is a more than sufficient back up, but Andreolli is very injury prone, Ranocchia is totally useless, and Ansaldi is our only truly competent fullback and far too important there to waste as a CB. So, in reality, that leaves us with three and a half CBs, not nearly enough depth if we are competing on all three fronts throughout the entire season. We only need one more, nothing extreme, but that one player would be a huge upgrade to the team.
Just because he have one serious injury in recent months, doesn’t mean he is very injury prone. I never remember he got injured more than 3 times in a single season since mazzari era. This is totally different thing with robben’s injury prone who comes almost every month
True, he hasn’t compiled too many other injuries, but his latest injury, Achilles tendon rupture, is very serious. Your Achilles tendon controls the movement of your foot up and down while running and jumping, two very important movements for a footballer, especially a CB. I’m not so worried about him re-injuring his Achilles tendon because the re-injury rate is very low, but I am worried about how long it will take him to get back to 100% of where he was previously, if he can even make a full recovery. There’s a decent chance that he comes back and is just never the same, I’ve seen it happen too many times to count.
I see I get your point
