What game were you watching? Palacio did more than Candreva did all game and Medel was good at what he does, recover possession and cover.
Did more how bro! He was in dangerous positions but did nothing other than just being there! Missed a sitter also. Medel on the other hand was out to sea most of the game. Sure he made a few interceptions but was behind the play most of the time. Watch the game again and see what I mean, even in the highlights he just jogged back on almost every occasion. It’s not like he has to stay up top for a counter or something, his roll needs him to be like a 5th defender but still when the opposition is in our 3rd he is way behind and jogging back. Shit man!
yeah, apparently we had a comeback against lazio in 14/15 , but this is our first second half comeback since Jonathan’s goal against Fiorentina in 13/14
If u are bashing Banega, I can’t. He as amazing. We have lacked his vision for so long! And most of us are only being optimistic cuz we came back. Passing wise, huge improvement compared to Mancini.

We were SO lucky today! We played really bad and Pescara more than deserved a draw! I hate this wanna be BARCA/Ajax tiki takka 4-3-3 still of play, which totally isolate Icardi in the box and if you do not have quality fullbacks capable of overlapping and crossing, you’re wingers will be left stranded with the job of opening up gameplay and delivering crosses into the solo striker…
We all dislike Mazarri BUT he manage to turn Icardi into the highest scoring player in serie A by playing a striker next to him (Palacio). And what happened when De Boer finally put another striker in the box -Icardi exploded!
The system that suites the squad the best and which insures we field as many of our quality players at the same time is; 3-4-1-2. In that way Icardi have someone to help him out on top (Eder, Gabi), Medel should play in center defense with freedom to go forward anto midfield, like he does for Chile, xKondogbia (as our Vidal/ Pogba) and Mario (as our Marchissio) in the midle and Banega as att mid, with Candreva on the right like for Italy and Ansaldi/ D’Ambrossio (which he did for Torino) on the left.
I know we are stuck with the dead boring 4-3-3 and De Boer will problaby be sacked before Christmas because of lack of quality fullbacks and an isolated Icardi!
