Real Madrid midfielder and Colombian international James Rodriguez revealed that he was offered a fee of nearly 85 million Euros to join Inter Milan during the summer transfer window, that he eventually rejected in the end. The transfer would have made the 25-year-old the fifth most expensive player in the world right behind Gonzalo Higuain, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Paul Pogba.
It is reported that he didn’t join the club because he felt that Inter Milan did not have the stature today that it used to have in the past, thus making him stay at Los Blancos for another season.
