That’s not possible! There’s no way Gabriel Barbosa would get over 5,5 million euros net salary, probably they meant gross salary! As I know Icardi is our highest payed player with 3,6 million! I don’t remember well, but the talkings was around 2,7 million! Which if you ask me is still, too much for an unproven young player, who doesn’t played never in Europe or being important player for his national team! But what to say about Ranocchia – 2,4 million, Felipe Melo – 2,5 million, Palacio – 2,4 million, Jovetic – 3,5 million, etc?!?!
That is before taxes €5,5m, he will earn €4,5m net. That is crazy salary for a 19 year old who never played in Europe. He is currently the one who earns the most at Inter until Icardi signs his new contract.

I think that this is lost in translation mistake! If he earns 4,5 million net, that means over 9 million gross and that’s almost impossible!

I feel it’s a translation problem, not sure about it, bcz deals like this should start with low salaries and if he proves himself he gets a higher salary within a specific period of time, unless we’re so stupid we pay him that muh without him proving himself worth
