I was harsh with MI9 for awhile last season, but then I realized that it wasn’t him. It was the fact we had barely anyone capable (besides Perisic), that could get him the ball. He’s not a Messi/CR9/Ibra were he will dribble past players to score. He needs the ball played infront of him to run on to it or on his head. He’s a 1-2 touch striker, which personally if you can find wingers/playmakers that are really talented are more deadly than strikers that try to dribble.
If anything I think that Inter benefits from having Icardi away from his national team. Less risk of injury and more time to train with the team/coaches.
Icardi was dumb in his national team choice. He would had become a legend in Azzurri’s jersey.

He´s exploding right in front of our eyes, making great runs with our the ball, linking up superbly with Candreva and Perisic and his understanding with Banega and Super Mario is impressive since both of them has just arrived at the club!
