honestly I think he has a fair shot of making it, the city squad has many technically sound players he can learn on, plus Guardiola knows how to shield his players although i don’t like him very much I must admit.
City have Aguero and Iheanacho already. Aguero is Aguero, nothing more needs saying. And Iheanacho was a really good deputy when Kun was suspended. Gabriel won’t see much gametime there. He can’t even play on the wings as Sterling and Sane are the future in those positions. It was basically career suicide to join City :p
Sure he will have to patient, but he is young, he is spoiled for choices when it comes to who will he learn from, City are in 4 competitions he’ll play, ahead of some youngsters who have already seen much game time.
And Silva is entering the age in which decline starts he would be the perfect replacement (note, he isn’t declining but soon enough)

He chose inter because of Ronaldo, Adriano, Roberto Carlos, Macon, Lucio etc. Also, because Juve has plenty of forwards who would be ahead of him, so unless he wants to play in midfield or at fullback, he’d be on the bench
