Miangue was solid today I was impressed. Kondo needs a psychologist to help him mentally. I don’t know why Eder is sucking so much he didn’t do anything when he came on!!! Rano missed a glorious chance at the end he is just not good enough, I’m scared every time he gets the ball :/ Barbosa has quality but we have to be patient with him. I like FDB but I think we made the wrong decision when he subbed out Banega… He should’ve taken out Rano, put Medel at cb, and put in Gabriel. Also think jovetic should’ve came on instead of Eder for two reasons: to prove that he wants to play by working hard and that Eder can play in the EL but jojo can’t so rest Eder. I think Icardi is awesome but he needs someone to compete with him up front. If you have no competition you tend to chill because you know no one is going to replace you… Also if you guys noticed, we make life difficult for ourselves sometimes by playing to wide and then cross the ball in, usually it’s Icardi vs three defenders and be can’t dribble so I think we should play more direct. Maybe play banega (playmaker) and jmario/medel (hardworking) the center and have perisic and candreva on the wings and play Icardi as a center forward and jovetic/barbosa/Eder behind him. What do you guys think???
I agree with you in a few points. Here is my opinion. Eder is a very smart and very hard working player he can drag defenders and play for the team not only creating chances for himself but for others. Jovetic on the other hand, wants to always create fancy plays and finish everything himself, overall he keeps the ball too long and that is Mancini style (I love Mancini btw). FB plays a faster calcio style with a lot of players linking up and down the field. that is why, I agree with puting Eder before Jovetic, but you have a very good point about the EL list. Some people critize FB for taking out Banegas and Candreva. Banega did no have a good day, he made a couple of wrong decisions maybe because he had to much pressure on him. Bologna made him and Icardi their targets during the game, so replacing Banegas with another player in theory could have confused Bologna a bit. Candreva was just tired, he had great impact in the game, but in the second half his crosses were not getting there, he was gasout, so replacing him with Gabigol was a good decision, especially if you consider that you are giving Gabigol his, “perhaps promised” debut in San Siro, after keeping him in the bench the previous two games. Also, keep in mind that our next game is against Roma. For that game we need a Candreva at 100%, because of his Lazio-Roma history. I think it is very unlikely Gabigol plays in that game. So, I think having Gabigol play today was a good compromise.
Kondogbia lost the ball in midfield to spark the counter for Mattia Destro’s opening goal, then Ivan Perisic equalised with a splendid volley.

Moral of the story Bologna was LUCKY…Inter eventually dominated the game and could not put in a 2nd goal despite the numerous chances..Inter are clearly playing better football with FDB. Lots of positive things in this game too.

I don’t want to blame Eder, I am sure FDB and the coaching team have their own plan with sub in Eder. It was just not work well.

Eder substituted the exhausted and off-day Banega, while Gabigol has yet understand the tactic perfectly, and he has played on the wing in Santos. If medel was out, Inter will be inferior in the midfield, considering Bologna are ready to do counter through midfield (see Kondo’s mistake). But hey, lesson learned, and D’Boer is new to Serie A, let give him time
