The day after the storm, Frank De Boer spent time with Kondogbia to smooth out the edges after the early substitution and criticism the day before. Having said that, the Frenchman will not be punished by having to sit on the bench, even the vice president Zanetti and the sporting director Ausilio spoke to the boy in Appiano, who’s morale is still low: they reiterated that the club still believes in him, and that they are happy that the 31 million plus bonuses investment was made as the player will have other chances as long as he listens to the coach. Even his comrades have encouraged him.

I disagree with some people who troll him so much.
I like the way how FDB manages the team.
It doesn’t mean that FDB is being ignorant to neither Brozo or Kondo.
He is giving lessons to them. He is showing how the player should react as a part of the team.
And I myself, just as a supporter, feel that I should support them as they both Brozo and Kondo are still young and can develop. Let them taking lessons from FDB. If they were turned to be like Balotelli, then FDB must be kicking their ass 😀
Exactly, it’s tough love. We all want to see him become a great player
maybe we should remember that we are aiming high, the team changed a lot since last season, I think FDB was right made the proper decision and seems that is handling the topic in the right way-
But how much time do you expect for Kondo to succeed? I’ve been waiting more than 1 season and I don’t see a solution, I think he doesn’t fit Serie A, Joao is a clear example on how a soccer player should play in a new team, especially when they paid a huge amount for him-
He was supposed to be our Pogba.
man, i hate that name.. I believe Pirlo is behind his success.
good observation, but as he moved to PL he is even more overrated!
Kondo has it all, just needs confidence. He must find his smile somewhere along the way again.
True, mate… I never see he smiles..
Let me tell you why kdog pisses him off,
FDB best stats as a player was his,
Interception
Reaction
Long Passing
Kdog lacks all these and these are his weaknesses so he gets on FDB nerves
I believe in him to.. just learn to do simple things, short pass and improve your vision. you can show your dribble skill when its needed, in the right time. because inter still need that skill.
Yeah, he just needs to develop a football brain. Physically and Athletically he has it all
with the help of banega and mario around him, he will learn how to play more effective
This is a huge positive for this kid. This could be a huge blessing in disguise. If FDB can finally unlock that huge potential in Kondogbia that could really take this team to the next level. Geoffrey Kondogbia could be a huge destroyer with offensive upside if he would just learn to play the simple pass and not dribble past players in his own half
He needs to be just a great destroyer first. The “new Yaya Toure” tag is a huge title. Yaya in his prime was absolutely incredible. He has way too many attributes to try to be mirrored.
Kondo when he first to italy I thought he has a strong personality but on the pitch he seems not enjoying football and his face looks like he about to cry..
I dont get why he loves to make things difficult for himself. Does he have to try dribble past 3 or 4 players all the time. He should learn not to dribble so mutch, specially not in his own half of the pitch and play quicker and simple. I think he will learn soon.
suicidal
It’s not that he love to make things difficult for him, this is his style of playing. He played like this in Spain and France but the problem is over there the defence don’t exist like in Seria A. Personally, I believe in him, that he can do more and he is a big talent but it is time for him to show it.
Just prove me wrong kondo, please prove me wrong..
unfortunately hate me all you want but I don’t think is possible, something is missing mentally
They believe in Ranocchia so why not Kondofgbia? 😀 What matters is Joao Mario is not Kondogbia 2.0. 😀
I wouldn’t consider Joao as Kdog 2.0 as he cam into the league and is doing good stuff so far where as I’m still waiting to see what we spent 31mil on Kdog for as he’s still trying to find his form.
Yeah someone already said Kondogbia is our M’Villa 2.0. 😀
But as I remember M’Villa wasn’t so expensive.
Skills is nothing if you can’t do the simple things (see kovacic). Accurate passing. Less touches. How hard is that Kondo? Especially with workhorses like Banega, Medel and JM around him. Potential only takes you so far.
it’s just a dirt on a road, they will get over it
Yeah. We all hope so. Now it all depends to him, wheter he wants to listen to his coach or not
