After these early season games we can start to understand how Frank de Boer thinks, as he is a coach who dares to risk and quite often as well. In Pescara, for the first time, he tried the triple change 15 minutes before the end with the entrance of Palacio, Jovetic and Eder and created a comeback. On Sunday, De Boer dared again, taking out Banega and Candreva amor Eder and Gabigol: in order to get the three points the dutchman has no fear of unbalancing the team, in fact in the final minutes Inter seemed to split into two parts. This shows an uncommon courage unlike with several colleagues who in times of need will not take risks.

I liked FDB before he signed with us, lets face the fact all risk takers are the deference makers specially in big matches, we need to add to that how skillful he is in turning youngsters to stars.
Now, can anyone tell the name of those so called colleagues? 😀
I like him, things are different, the coach game style is different- he is doing exactly the opposite that Mancio did but I think we are heading on the right way-
He is a class coach and full of character!
Taking Banega out on Sunday and leaving Gnou and Medel to organise our build-up was a mistake for sure.
Banega was absolutely a non-factor, but it should’ve been Jojo not Eder as his replacement.
Agreed,,,Eder was so clueless,,,and played like he didnt want to play
Banega is our only playmaker beside Mario, if he won’t create something, no one will.
If De Boer took out Kondogbia because he held the ball too long, just imagine how long Jovetic would be on the pitch before De Boer would take him out for the same thing.. Jovetic is the biggest ball hog in our squad.
Jojo is creative too, and plz don’t make stereotypes like Jojo doesn’t pass! We’re talking about professionals man! They do whatever the coach wants from them.
If he does what the coach wants, he would be on the pitch. And I didn’t say that he doesn’t pass, he keeps the ball too long, always taking too much touches and trying to dribble before he makes the pass. There is a reason that he doesn’t play. Just like there is a reason why Kondogbia was taken out after 27 minutes. And Banega and Jovetic are completely different types of players, Banega links up with team mates all over the pitch, Jovetic is a second striker, he spends his time in the finald third of the pitch.
You won’t see him playing much under De Boer.
Reminds me of Strama but with more experience.
I’m still waiting…We only won again promoted team (save by woodwork and God Handa) and Empoli. The turning point on this FDB support coz we won against Rube. The harmony of this team I really want to know how FDB keep it up. Plus the risk of injury if Inter play high attacking tempo. Can’t wait to see Inter vs Roma. I do like FDB coz he’s got a gut to play youngster.
I agree and I do love that FDB is not afraid to make the hard choices. Vs Bologna though I think it hurt us. Candreva and Banega are the only 2 players on this team that Seam to have the quality to set up other players. Without them this team can not function. This Mercato they have to bring in more players who can play the final pass with ease, along with Wingbacks that can pick a pass and send in deadly crosses
Fans love this, but I’m not so sure that it is the right approach. In a situation when a team is one goal behind it is still achievable to get the result without unbalancing the team, by slightly changing the tactics and waiting for the right chance. Attacking with many players can also lead to success, it’s like brute force, but it leaves huge risk of conceding the goal late in the game, which means certain loss.
Also, playing with 4 or 5 attackers is useless if you don’t have players who can create chances on a small space. Opposite team usually defends with 8 or 9 players and that leaves no space in front of the goal. And except Banega and Jovetic we don’t really have technically gifted players.
Yeah, last season with Mancini we was waiting for the right chance and everybody saw what happened! In Italy every team is very well prepared tactical, knows how to defend deep with the whole squad. And if you don’t risk, the chance to score at least twice and turn around the result is very slim! Let alone that is meaningless to defend with four at the back, especially at Meazza, when your opponent only thinking is how to defend and we all know that our current fullbacks are useless in attack and can’t contribute with nothing for scoring!
… and if you add to this the fact that he started the Bologna game with a pure young player a left back and after only 27 min´s subbed Kondogbia instead of, NOT Melo or someone with experience, but with ANOTHER youngster in the shape of Gnoukouri, then you really start to see a man with vision, ideas and balls!!
Yeah, thats why he called frank de balls
he is the only one that can make bear cum, remember that pin point pass in the WC
