It’s a one man standing competition for top assist in Serie A, were Antonio Candreva‘s leadership shines since 2013.
Antonio Candreva has a crystal clear talent for playing on the flank, but his statistics for the season are going along with him. So far the number 87 made 61 assist to his team players, and 3 times they were decisive to score a goal.
His reign starts three years ago, and nobody took his place since, and it’s way of play and serving assist in the new Inter changed the whole team.
The way of play of Inter in the past didn’t involve too much the flank as De Boer‘s Inter, were Candreva teaming up with Perisic on the other side, are serving Icardi lots of high balls, at their best. Even with the likes of the croatian, another name from the nerazzurri are filling the list, and surprisingly is Ever Banega, which is at sixth in the table with 45 assist served so far.

i think we may have to switch to 4-4-2 diamond, or even a more offensive 4-3-3 but this should happen after we sort our defense up, with the diamond we will have two wingers, banega as a playmaker and gabigol and icardi up front
