The news every Inter fan has been waiting for finally arrived today. Mauro Icardi has renewed his contract with the Nerazzurri through until 2021 the club announced via the official club website. The official statement read:
“FC Internazionale is delighted to announce that an agreement has been reached to extend Mauro Icardi’s contract until 30 June, 2021,
The Argentina striker, born in Rosario on 19 February 1993, joined Inter from Sampdoria in the 2013-14 season.
Since then he has scored 58 goals in 114 games, giving him one of the highest goals-per-game ratios in Nerazzurri history.
