Former Inter defender and Colombian international Ivan Cordoba spoke to Diario AS in Spain regarding the current situation that his former club is facing at the moment, but remains optimistic regardless.
“Everyone expects a lot from every Inter player. If you play for this kind of teams you are always expected to play for the title and for the Champions League. I spent 14 years at the club and I am on very good terms with vice-president Javier Zanetti. Owners can change, but the club remains the same, the club always comes first.”, stated the Colombian.
Talking about his compatriot and fellow defender Jeison Murillo, he said that “he is fit, he used the first year to gain confidence with Italian football and he had a positive season.”

Sorry Cordoba but murillo isnt growing as hoped. He seems to regress and fast becoming a liability to players around him. I hope he will recover and start growing again. If not we need to find his replacemnt quickly.
