Frank de Boer, interviewed by Sky, commented on Inter’s win against Southampton:

“We must win every game so we could continue in Europa League. Southampton played with discipline, our first half was bad but in the second half we did our best and Candreva scored a fantastic goal. Brozovic’s red card made us suffer but I want to congratulate the guys. For me it’s important to play together and compact. We can’t always press high. We knew Southampton’s strengthens, even in their state of mind. Handanovic is a fantastic goalkeeper. It’s important to make the play from behind, that the full backs stay high and that the wingers move through the lines. We can improve under every side. In the second half we were less afraid and we tried to play better.”
