Samir Handanovic, interviewed by INTER Channel, says denying Charlie Austin at the death was his favorite:

“The second one when I came out and leapt at the ball was the hardest and I’m happy with it,” Samir admitted.

“The result was more important than playing well tonight and we didn’t play well, it must be said, but the win is good for morale and it keeps us in the mix for qualification. In Italy teams keep things tighter and play more on the counter. When you lose possession and you can’t break up the opposition’s move straight away you can find yourself on the back foot. Sometimes you need to make a tactical foul.

“Today we needed to be clinical and aggressive in the right measure and that’s what we did.”
