Did you notice that most of our attack build from the left side where brozo places, and the goal was also made from an assist from the left side. i cant remember any attack build from the right side. And also remember there is no perisic on the left side, he played with eder and santon, if perisic play I think he will be more consistent and dangerous. And remember inter win this game when he plays (when he is not playing we lost) and the goal was build from the left side. Although his stats were bad but his contributions (before the red card) are far better from the rest of the team

Performance wise i’d like to give him a pass because he hasn’t played in weeks. I felt like FDB should have substituted him around the 70 min mark since he did look a bit gassed and he was already on a yellow.
BUT his final yellow was completely idiotic and wreckless – worst of all it looked like he wanted to lose his shit on the ref to the point his team at to restrain him for a obvious red.
Could have costed us the game and FDB his job. This guy is a complete dumbass and at this point I’d be willing to sell for $15M even if its to Roma or Juve. Maybe one day he’ll discover his potential, but i prefer not to take that chance. Luckily his good country form is saving his value.

This is ridiculous! Compare to Medel? WTF?! Every single pass of Medel is backward. Ne NEVER moves the ball forward and NEVER moves himself in free space to receive the ball and starts an attacking play. He just stays a front of the defense and pass every ball back. Brozovic from other side is trying to build the attacks and last night this was very difficult task with his colleague Medel and unexperienced Gnoukuri. Add to them the shadows of Eder and Icardi and you will get the whole picture. Only Santon provided some option form left and sometimes Candreva. I’m agree that Brozovic misplaced many passes but this was because the lack of options around him. If you try to make a threat sometimes you risk. If you pass the ball to the defenders and the goalkeeper – you have very high rate of accurate passes but the final product is zero.
You have to take into account that Brozo played only a halftime this season and he had issues the coach with. This definitely has affected his mind and for him is much more difficult than Medel who has the full support from the coach.
I’m also pretty sure that a midfield consisted of Banega, Mario and Brozovic will work much better than Banega, Medel and Mario.
In conclusion i’d pick Brozo over Medel every day of the week although they are playing on diffirent postions.

We’ve seen what he can do, i sincerely was impressed by situations where Brozo was facing 3 southampton players, and trying to keep the ball, he did right, + gnoukouri was far on the right side of the pitch so no passing choices. Also his vista and his diving passes right to Icardi or eder’s feet proved to be useful.

I haven’t said that Brozovic should play on Medel’s position. Depends of the tactics but against smaller teams Mario – Banega – Brozovic will work much better because will keep the possession and will create chances much easier.

It’s true, Medel has a much more higher because he plays easy short passes all the time to nearest player, often playing the ball back to GK or CBs or FBs, but that’s only when he has no other choice. In that position he plays in, he cannot loose the ball there like Kondogbia did. Brozovic is not a much better passer than Medel am afraid. He tries more difficult passes than Medel, that’s why he looses so much balls. Playing the way De Boer wants with a high line and high pressure we can’t have ppl in midfield loosing the ball so often as Brozovic does. Thats why we suffer so much at the back. We need ppl with high passing accuracy all over the midfield. That’s why we can’t have Brozo and Kondo playing there. They loose the ball too often.
The thing is Medel is a good passer.. but he think better be safe then sorry.. when he is further up the pitch he make more advanced passes. But he isn’t up there so often..
