The difference is the attitude of our squad, something we haven’t been able to do since mourinho. We have lazy, undisciplined players and Icardi as captain doesn’t help the attitude. No coach has been able to convince our players they are the best and as a result they play like a mid (almost bottom now) table team.

Give this PROFESSIONAL football players a raise. We all can see how they put their life every match. Or maybe we can let them write a book, fiction books, cause it seems they keep dreaming while in the field.
That just sums up the players attitude… I know everyone keeps crying about FDB but I’m watching the play on the field and these guys heads aren’t in the game, too many dumb mistakes. I don’t see the next coach changing the player’s attitudes. It needs to start from within themselves.
We beat Juve for christ sakes and played a good game against Roma with FDB as coach and these same players. The players wanted to win those games and gave it their all, but they’re not doing that against the smaller teams.

If a player is doing well in Serie A, I rather sign them since they know how to play in the league.
i guess we have bad issues when sign players from serie a, first they just become 1-2 seasons to shine then go away (if they’re lucky), second, there’s too much hype lately on the players we try to steal (being overpriced or already settled with our rivals)

Hmm.. can’t see what the Icardi-mess has to do with Frank de Boer, the episode happens last year and the issue between him and the fans is a matter that concerns the club and Icardi, not the coach. Banega hasnt played because Frank de Boer is playing more defensively with a 4-1-2-3 model and therefor a “luxury”player like Banega doesn’t fit in.. but I agree with his handling of Broso and Kondogbia we’re too harsh! Broso didn’t play for, what, a month or something even though he had apologized to everyone, I mean de Boer HAD made his point clear why keep on pushing him? Our playing stil has been great – maybe a bit to “unbalanced” but even against Cagliari we played really well. Icardi is very isolated but is working his ass off!

I said this in the beginning and I’ll say it again, FDB should not coach inter because he’s not suited for Serie A it’s like when Luis Enrique managed Roma. Look at Jurgen Klopp, his first season with Liverpool was not good ( like De Bour, he was without pre season training ). Now Liverpool is on top. Klopp made full pre season and took players he wanted for a team. It is not good for us to change coaches every 1 year or less. The team has a lot of shit players that must leave, because there is no big competition between players. We must give De Bour January and summer mercato and full pre season training. And if it is possible without summer tours in USA or China.

Unfortunately, I haven’t seen any clarity and consistency with his philosophy. Moreover, his philosophy does not align with our winning DNA found at two grande Inters (Helenio Herrera & Jose Mourinho): catenaccio defense, deadly-counterattack, never-die attitude. Those DNA seem missing out in FDB’s philosophy. But I do agree, FDB should be given time until winter transfer market to prove that him and his philosophy could bounce back. So far, I haven’t seen we are heading intto better circumstances. FDB is not ready for Inter. I blamed Suning and Thohir for this disaster.
Against stronger opponent we played decent game. Against weaker teams, we always look clueless and unmotivated. Although Eder said there is no language barriers, I’m pretty sure FDB barely speaks Italian and knows Serie-A game. How the hell on earth you manage and motivate the players without connecting deeply with them? Laurent Blanc is surely not a perfect candidate, but he is the best available option for now. He is a former Inter star, speaks Italian fluently, knows Serie-A very well and had the experience managing ‘stars’ with huge egos. He tamed Ibrahimovic for years and suspended Serge Aurier because of his social media unpopular posts. You can imagine what would happen to spoiled-brats like Broz and Icardi when Blanc was in charge.
Some people ask a caretaker to bridge the team into Simeone. Yes Simeone is the perfect candidate based on Inter winning DNA. Unfortunately, Simeone still has two years contract left (2018). No one can guarantee we would survive with FDB until that time. No one can guarantee Simeone would come to us when his contract expired. No one can guarantee Blanc would be another failure. Unless you want to create bigger circus with caretaker like Pioli, Guidolin or Mandorlini.

Everybody says that in Italy for success you need in the first place strong defence! I’m not agree with that! What do you think will happen if Barcelona or Real Madrid play against Atalanta? Roma and Napoli are not famous with their defense, but they are successful in Serie A, to some extent! In football there’s many ways, philosophies or tactics with you can be successful and good coaches can do that in different ways! Many good coaches have struggles now Ancelotti in Bayern, Mourinho in Manchester United, Guardiola in Manchester City, Emery in PSG, but that doesn’t mean that they are bad coaches or that their philosophy doesn’t suit the league they play!

Although I don’t think with all this pressure the players will adapt to a very different system, so I’m assuming he will be sacked soon unless some players bring their A game to the field and also they really shouldn’t care who the coach is— simple as that.

Lower clubs always have something to prove and the players perform better in order for bigger clubs to recognise them. These players in clubs like inter have high targets and expectation from fans and the management, however some feel too comfortable and underestimate opponents consistently( kondogbia for one is an example of this)

blanc? IMO he’s just succeeded with Bordeaux and PSG? with the level of league there, he’s still in the similar position with FDB when he at least come here. (at least he’s familiar with us)
He stayed for years at PSG when they had all the money in the world (and therefore could have sacked him any day if he didn’t deliver -which he did, just look at PSG now!). So he’s used to working under pressure and is used to having the owners in another country too!
PSG had the same policy as our new owners have; the want to buy young promising players and therefor Blanc is used to working with youngsters. He’s also used to work with world class players with big ass egos from his time with the French national team and of cause from his PSG days (Zlatan, Cavani Motta and so on).
Finally he played for us, and was GREAT for two years. He was a true general – remember him? He knows the langue (I guess) and Serie a, besides he speaks French and would be the perfect mentor to Kondogbia who needs all the support he can get, plus Miangue. I guess he also speaks English from his time in UTD and even Spanish -he has had a lot of Spanish/Portuguese speaking players in PSG whom he has developed into great players!
Everyone dreams of Simeone but he’s with Ateltico until, at least next summer, and we can’t wait for him to come or not, but must start a new era with a new coach NOW!! Blanc would know how to go after in January and I would trust him completely to handle the squad and the youngsters!

A great choice as well, he has loads of experience from Malaga when they had money, Real Madrid and City, he speaks Spanish and wouldn’t struggle in Italian either and has more an “Italian” approach than De Boer, that’s for sure!
